Stage mouth decoration: Grandiose vividly coloured frieze. The central area, pyramidal in structure, is integrated by three large nudes in michelangesque style: Apollo, God of the Sun and Music, Thalia and Melpomene - muses of Comedy and Tragedy - each with the associated mask of that particular genre, a clear reference to the theatre world. Beside these figures young nudes with garlands of fruit and lush draperies can be seen.
Song and Dance are depicted on either side of this decoration - two groups of young ephebes can be seen on a blue background reminding us of the Cantorias of Donatello and Luca Della Robbia.
