The tickets for the “seats in the pit” in the Teatro Pérez Galdós for the musical Mamma Mia! are now on sale
More than 11,000 tickets have already been sold with still more than two months to go until the premiere in the Gran Canarian capital city
This Friday 13th November, the Teatro Pérez Galdós Canary Islands’ Foundation has put the tickets on sale for the so-called “seats in the pit” for the musical Mamma Mia!, which is to take place in the Gran Canarian coliseum from 7th to 29th January. More than 11,000 tickets have already been sold with still more than two months to go until the premiere, which shows the great interest displayed by the Gran Canarian public for musicals.
The “seats in the pit” category in the Teatro was created last season precisely for the same reason as there was such a great demand for tickets for the musical Hoy no me puedo levantar. These seats are located on top of the platform covering the orchestra pit, offering a privileged position for viewing the performance, at close proximity to the stage and cost 40 euros.
The rest of the tickets cost 55, 48 and 40 euros, depending on the location, for the general public, and 44, 38 and 32 euros for the Amigos del Teatro Pérez Galdós, who benefit from important discounts.
All the tickets can be purchased by the usual means: ticket office of the Teatro Pérez Galdós, website of the Teatro (www.teatroperezgaldos.es), vending machines of La Caja de Canarias and the internet service offered by the bank entity (www.cajatique.com).
The Teatro Pérez Galdós is to offer a total of 32 performances of Mamma Mia! between 7th and 28th January, 2010. After five outstandingly successful seasons in Madrid and Barcelona, the production company Stage Entertainment is betting on an extremely emotional and explosive tour with the lead singers Nina and Marta Valverde.
