The Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg represent it on Friday 9 and Saturday 10
Directed by David Azagra Orchestra of the Mariinsky Theatre will be in charge of putting music to ballet Romeo and Juliet, who represents the Mariinsky Ballet Theatre tomorrow, Friday, on 9 and 10 on Saturday, at the Teatro Perez Galdos to 20.30.
It is a ballet in three acts, with music by Sergei Prokofiev and choreography of Leonid Lavrovsky, based on the tragedy written by the famous playwright William Shakespeare.
Romeo and Juliet is a ballet that met the ultimate glory during the twentieth century, from sheet music by Tchaikovsky, Berlioz, Gounod and especially that of Prokofiev, clearly and powerfully descriptive theatrical version which is now the Teatro Perez Galdos.
